Although modern art started way back in the late 19th century by impressionists such as Édouard Manet and Van Gogh, there was still a tinge of classical art form lingering in their artwork. The real breakthrough came when Pablo Picasso first exhibited "
Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" in 196.
The piece was considered immoral and beastly at that time but that was when modern art truly started.
Alright, enough of this boring history, if you are interested, wiki it (that was what I did). Here's something I'd like to share about Picasso. This amazing documentary that shows Picasso painting and each painting has been destroyed after the shoot to keep them "in the film".
